Active Parenting Now Classes

Each of our different parenting programs can teach you new ways of understanding your child’s needs, interacting with each other, how to develop more positive family relationships, and other new skills for coping with the stress of being a parent.

Our parenting classes are offered free of charge in various community locations throughout the year. Free meals and childcare are offered at our 6 week Tuesday and Thursday night classes only.

While the majority of our participants are those who simply want to strengthen their families and find support, our programs are also recognized as an acceptable curriculum for foster parents, child care workers, CASA volunteers, DFCS and Family Court Situations.

For information or enrollment questions about our 6 week parenting classes, please contact Jo Ann Compton (Program Coordinator) at (678) 495-7112.
