Prevent Child Abuse Rockdale is a non-profit, chartered council of a statewide organization dedicated to preventig child abuse. Located in Conyers, Georgia in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area, PCAR leads, supports, and coordinates citizens and professionals in a comprehensive effort to end child abuse.

Our Mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect in all forms.

Prevent Child Abuse Georgia
Get information on child abuse, parenting and community resources, referrals to services in communities throughout Georgia and support for concerned citizens, survivors of abuse, parents, adolescents and others.

Trained staff are available 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Friday. Confidential and Free. Statewide Helpline 1-800-CHILDREN, and for out-of-state call 404-870-6565.

The "Need To Talk?" Program, sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, is available to the community by dialing 1-800-CHILDREN (244-5373). A great place to call to discuss parenting, family concerns, child safety, victims/survivors of abuse, as well as tough issues such as sex, violence, alcohol and drugs, or abuse. Trained caring volunteers and staff are there to help! Need to talk? 1-800-CHILDREN (244-5373)
